What format of source video do you take?

Video sources can be HI8, MiniDV, VHS or VHS-C.  Please send email to support@vlvideo.com or call (704) 421-1111 if you have other video formats.

How long does it take to process my order?

For most orders, it takes 2-3 business days from the time we receive your tapes to complete your order. If your order requires editing, or if you have a large number of videotapes, it will take up to 6 business days.  Additional DVD copies of a previous order are shipped the next business day.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard true PAYPAL system. If you come to our studio, we will also accept cash and checks.

Do you accept video tapes from international customers for editing?

We currently only accept video tapes from U.S. and Canadian customers.

Do you accept orders for additional DVD copies for international customers?

Yes, we ship DVD copies internationally.  If we have produced a DVD for you, you can order extra copies for your overseas friends and family, or they can order copies directly from us.

Can you transfer video tapes that are in PAL or other foreign format?

Yes, please send email to support@vlvideo.com or call (704) 421-1111 for price quotes.

Do you produce DVDs in foreign format for other countries?

YES, we do all formats.

What is WEB POSTING ?

A WEB POSTING is a captivating condensed clip of your video that is about 3 minutes long.  Our editing professionals select the best video sequences and add background music that fits the mood of the content.  The result is a dazzling piece of video that tells a concise and coherent story.  The WEB POSTING will be included in your DVD.

How long do my video clips stay online?

Your WEB POSTING will be available for viewing online for 30 days.  If you would like to extend your web-sharing period, please contact us at support@vlvideo.com or call us at (704) 421-1111.

Will I still be able to order extra copies after the web-sharing period is over?

Yes, even after the web-sharing period is over, you can still order extra copies of your DVDs.  A list of your movies will be kept in your account indefinitely.  You can send email to support@vlvideo.com or call (704) 421-1111 to order extra copies.

Can I make copies of the DVDs that are produced by My Director's Cut?

No, our work is protected by copyright.  However, we do provide a low cost option for you to obtain additional copies of your DVDs.  We only charge a fraction of what other studios charge for additional copies.  We archive all the DVDs that we produce so you can conveniently order additional copies at anytime.
